About The Position

Iacofano's Catering & Events is hiring an Assistant General Manager to lead overnight kitchen operations in Brook Park, Ohio. The company caters private jets, airlines, and corporate events around the clock. Overnight production includes food preparation and cook-chill work for morning runs, while also supporting late and ASAP aviation orders. The role is responsible for ensuring work is completed to specification, on time, and in accordance with food-safety standards, and for providing a clear handover to day leadership.

The schedule is five overnight shifts per week, typically totaling 50 hours. Additional hours may be needed for large events and holidays. The position is full-time and salaried. Overnight leaders may be considered first for General Manager and new-location openings as the company grows.

Requirements

• At least 2 years leading a kitchen shift in high-volume catering, banquets, hotels, airline, or institutional food service.
• Experience independently running a shift and making operational decisions.
• ServSafe Manager (CFPM) certification, or ability to earn it within 60 days.
• Reliable availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• Aviation or airline catering experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete the overnight prep and cook-chill plan to specification and on time for morning runs.
• Lead the overnight team by assigning stations, coaching employees, and maintaining standards.
• Complete and verify HACCP logs, temperature records, and sanitation before handover.
• Build, check, and dispatch late and ASAP aviation orders on time.
• Provide a clear report to the day leadership team each morning.
