Assistant General Manager - Sanitation
About The Position
EquipmentShare is hiring an Assistant General Manager (Sanitation) at its rental facility in Caddo Mills, Texas. The role supports branch performance and daily operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused rental environment, with an emphasis on portable sanitation equipment. The Assistant General Manager works with the General Manager to maintain efficient procedures, monitor business performance, support employees, and maintain a safe and compliant workplace. The position includes responsibilities for vendor relationships, route planning and equipment deployment, procurement, invoices, inventory, DOT records, safety, and employee training. The salary range is $65,000–$85,000; final compensation may be affected by experience and location. Employment is contingent on passing a background check; some roles may also require a drug test depending on job responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least 3–4 years of rental industry experience, preferably in a management role.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to the fast pace of a growing company and stay continuously educated on EquipmentShare products and services.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain vendor relationships for service, delivery, and office-related material needs.
- Assist with route planning, scheduling, equipment deployment, servicing, and asset recovery for sanitation equipment.
- Review and maintain invoices.
- Procure items needed for daily facility operations.
- Maintain DOT compliance records.
- Conduct weekly inventory audits for parts and assets.
- Implement and maintain safety policies for employees at the location.
- Assist the General Manager in achieving maximum branch performance through efficient execution of procedures.
- Review monthly profit and loss statements with the General Manager to understand the business and its trends.
- Monitor equipment utilization, underperforming assets, warranty recovery, billed mechanical hours, aged receivables, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct weekly safety meetings with location employees.
- Ensure branch employees are properly trained on equipment; conduct and coordinate required training and maintain completion records.
- Assist the General Manager in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures while complying with legal regulations.
