Requirements

Current RN license in Nevada.
Minimum one year of direct psychiatric nursing experience.
Minimum three years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in nursing care.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
Passion for mentoring and developing nursing talent.
Ability to stabilize acute psychotic and non-violent crises using accepted intervention techniques.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred.
Nursing leadership experience ideally in behavioral healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
Mentor and coach nursing supervisors and staff, fostering professional growth and clinical excellence.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care plans and outcomes.
Monitor staffing levels, manage scheduling, and support recruitment and retention efforts.
Lead initiatives to improve patient satisfaction scores and clinical performance metrics.
Participate in budget planning and resource allocation to optimize care delivery.
