About The Position

Haffner’s is seeking an Assistant Convenience Store Manager to help provide customers with a satisfying shopping experience. The role assists the Store Manager in implementing company policies and procedures and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction. The Assistant Manager works closely with store employees to ensure daily routines and responsibilities are completed as directed by the Store Manager, and is prepared to perform the Store Manager’s duties in their absence. The position also involves supervising employees when the Store Manager is unavailable, completing and delegating shift duties, and supporting store operations and administration. Haffner’s describes a positive work environment with training and advancement opportunities. The position is full-time and offers $18.50–$24.00 per hour, based on relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications. Eligible for a $300 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and requests in a timely manner, and report customer feedback and actions taken to the Store Manager.
Maintain a clean, well-stocked store with a friendly, inviting atmosphere.
Complete daily administrative responsibilities in the Store Manager’s absence, following company procedures.
Be prepared to complete managerial duties when the Store Manager is unavailable.
Serve as a positive role model for fellow employees.
Supervise employees in the Store Manager’s absence.
Complete and delegate shift duties to maintain store conditions in accordance with the Store Manager’s expectations.
Assist the Store Manager with following up on daily shift duties.
