About The Position

Peak Living is seeking a qualified Assistant Community Manager with tax credit experience for Wellington Village Senior Apartments. Under the direction of the Community Manager, this role supports and assists with all aspects of community operations, including staff supervision, customer service, leasing, tax credit compliance, resident accounts, and community finances.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience as an onsite Assistant Community Manager or Leasing Consultant in multifamily housing, hospitality, or a similar field.
• At least one year of experience in LIHTC communities.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Nice To Haves

• Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation.
• Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) designation, for Section 8.

Responsibilities

• Support the Community Manager in supervising all community associates.
• Support and participate in customer service and leasing activities.
• Help ensure the community meets tax credit requirements through training, audits, inspections, and reporting.
• Assist with leasing and marketing efforts.
• Prepare paperwork for new and renewal leases.
• Recommend rental rate adjustments or concessions to the Community Manager.
• Review resident files and accounting records for unpaid balances or late fees; communicate with residents about outstanding balances, implement delinquency collection procedures, and enforce lease agreements.
• Assist with resident loyalty and retention initiatives.
• Help organize daily work and community operations.
• Collect, post, and deposit rent, security deposits, and other community income.
• Support the Community Manager in maintaining and managing budgeted occupancy and collections.
