Assistant Community Manager
About The Position
Western National Property Management is hiring an Assistant Community Manager for Huntington/Highlander Apartment Homes, a 178-unit property in Huntington Beach, California. The role supports the Community Manager and maintenance team in the daily operations and financial performance of the community, helping optimize net operating income and carry out ownership objectives. The position contributes to providing residents with an environment that exemplifies California living. The company describes the candidate as polished, engaging, energetic, customer-service oriented, and able to contribute in a high-energy environment. Compensation is $23.50–$26.50 per hour, depending on experience, with the opportunity to earn bonus compensation.
Requirements
- Current or previous multifamily property management experience.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills and comfort working with people.
- Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Understanding of maintenance operations, landlord-tenant law, and fair employment and housing laws.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an Assistant Community Manager or Leasing Manager.
- Some experience with financial statements, budget preparation, and monthly reporting.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager.
- A college degree.
