About The Position

Western National Property Management is hiring an Assistant Community Manager for Huntington/Highlander Apartment Homes, a 178-unit community in Huntington Beach, California. The role supports the Community Manager and maintenance team in the community’s daily operations and financial performance, including optimizing net operating income and carrying out ownership objectives. The position contributes to creating a resident environment that exemplifies California living at its best. The role suits an engaging, energetic customer-service professional with current or previous multifamily property management experience who can contribute in a high-energy environment. Compensation is $23.50–$26.50 per hour, depending on experience, with the opportunity to earn bonus compensation. Benefits are also offered.

Requirements

Current or previous multifamily property management experience.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Understanding of maintenance operations, landlord-tenant law, and fair employment and housing laws.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as an Assistant Community Manager or Leasing Manager.
Some experience with financial statements, budget preparation, and monthly reporting.
Yardi Voyager experience.
A college degree.
