The Assistant Clinical Coordinator is a valuable member of our Crisis Care team who assists with the planning, organization, evaluation, and supervision of the Crisis Care Program, which includes 24/7 crisis response to individuals and families in the community experiencing a mental health crisis. Provides direct client care, indirect client care and/or administrative coordination, and support of behavioral health and related activities. Provides community outreach and engagement related to the crisis response system. The Assistant Clinical Coordinator will function as a community liaison and focus on administrative and systems change. Responsible for clinical training of the team. To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who Is comfortable handling difficult situations and conversations with staff, coworkers, and clients. Able to view things through a clinical lens (trauma-informed) and assist in educating staff. Knowledgeable regarding important documentation requirements and best practices. ASIST - ACC will have to attend ASIST training (grant-funded travel) to become a trainer for other staff. Since we are 24/7/365, someone who can share in managing situations outside of "work time."
