About The Position

The Assistant Center Manager is a high-visibility leadership role and the Center Manager’s right hand, responsible for driving sales, coaching the team, and ensuring guests have a positive experience. The role is part of a leadership development path that can lead to Center Manager and further opportunities.

The Assistant Center Manager helps set daily goals with the team, maintains the center’s appearance and retail displays, provides real-time coaching to Guest Service Associates and Wax Specialists, responds to guest inquiries, monitors KPIs, mentors associates, and partners with the Center Manager on local marketing and interviewing. Full-time availability and a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, are required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a multi-service or specialty store environment.
• Previous management or leadership experience in a professional setting.
• Full-time availability and a flexible schedule that includes a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong organization, punctuality, self-motivation, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Experience with Zenoti.

Responsibilities

• Lead team huddles and communicate goals to help prepare the team for the day.
• Ensure the center is clean and inviting and that the retail wall is stocked.
• Coach Guest Service Associates and Wax Specialists in the moment on sales and product knowledge.
• Handle guest inquiries and help create a positive, memorable guest experience.
• Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies to help the team meet sales goals.
• Mentor associates on career development and communication skills.
• Partner with the Center Manager on local marketing ideas and interviewing candidates.
