About The Position

The Assistant Center Manager reports to the Center Manager. When the Center Manager is absent, the Assistant Center Manager has ultimate responsibility for the center’s operations, including production, quality compliance, finance, human resources, and IT. The role helps maintain quality, efficiency, profitability, and compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations while supporting donor and employee safety.

The position includes recruiting, training, counseling, and terminating employees; supporting corrective action programs; and assisting with the center’s marketing and advertising efforts. Overnight travel may be required, up to 10%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience overseeing the activities of a team or other employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company standard operating procedures and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Participate in collecting and analyzing data to maintain center quality, efficiency, and profitability.
• Collaborate with the Center Manager on quality compliance to meet company, regulatory, and customer requirements and safeguard plasma purity and efficacy and the safety of donors and employees.
• Work with quality personnel and the QA team to develop corrective action plans for deficiencies identified during audits.
• Ensure the center and employees comply with OSHA regulations and training requirements, and complete OSHA recordkeeping and reporting.
• Recruit, train, counsel, and terminate employees, and administer corrective action programs in accordance with HR policies and fair treatment practices.
• Support the center’s marketing and advertising efforts.
• Assume ultimate responsibility for center operations, including production, quality compliance, finance, HR, and IT, when the Center Manager is absent.
