Assistant Center Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Center Manager is a high-visibility leadership and development role, serving as the Center Manager’s right hand and helping lead the daily operations of a European Wax Center. The role focuses on driving sales, coaching a high-performing team, and ensuring guests receive a welcoming, memorable experience. It is part of a leadership track that can lead to Center Manager and further opportunities. The Assistant Center Manager helps set daily goals, maintain the center’s appearance and retail displays, provide real-time coaching, address guest inquiries, monitor key performance indicators, mentor associates, support local marketing, and participate in interviewing prospective team members. The role requires full-time availability and a flexible schedule that includes a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a multi-service or specialty store environment.
- Previous management or leadership experience in a professional setting.
- Full-time availability and ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Self-motivation, punctuality, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to coach associates and engage with guests.
- Problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Comfort with Excel and Word.
- Genuine desire to represent the EWC brand culture and drive team development.

Responsibilities
- Lead team huddles to communicate goals and motivate associates.
- Maintain a pristine center, stocked retail wall, and inviting environment.
- Provide real-time coaching to Guest Service Associates and Wax Specialists on sales goals and product knowledge.
- Handle guest inquiries and help create memorable guest experiences.
- Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies to help the team achieve sales results.
- Mentor associates on career development and communication skills.
- Partner with the Center Manager on local marketing ideas.
- Participate in interviewing prospective associates.
