About The Position

CSSI is hiring Armed Security Officers for K-12 school campuses in the Savannah, Georgia area. Officers provide a safe, calm learning environment for students, faculty, and visitors on a weekday schedule that follows the school calendar. This is an ongoing hiring posting for multiple sites rather than a single opening. Candidates who clear screening are placed when a post matches their license, location, and availability; cleared candidates who are not placed immediately remain on file for future openings. The assigned campus determines the hourly rate. Armed campus posts in the area start at $21 per hour, with higher rates at select sites. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the regular rate for hours over 40 in a work week. The schedule is Monday through Friday during school hours, with weekends and school holidays typically off; occasional after-hours campus events may occur. CSSI provides Georgia armed guard license training through its Training Academy at no cost to the candidate. The company describes growth opportunities into site supervisor, field coordinator, and district leadership roles.
