About The Position

CSSI is continuously hiring Unarmed Security Officers for client sites in Pooler, Savannah, and Rincon, Georgia. Posts include gated residential communities, industrial campuses, hotel and commercial properties, and federal facilities. Applicants who clear screening may be placed when a post matches their license, location, and availability; eligible candidates who are not immediately placed remain on file for future openings.

Sites operate 24/7/365. Shift lengths and rotations vary by post and may include 8- or 12-hour shifts, days, evenings, or overnights. Most posts require weekend availability. Full-time and part-time schedules are available. Pay is based on the assigned post; unarmed posts in the area start at $18.00 per hour, with higher rates at select sites. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the regular rate for hours over 40 in a work week.

CSSI has provided professional security services across South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida since 2006. The company offers training through the CSSI Training Academy at no cost and a potential growth path into site supervisor, field coordinator, and district leadership roles.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be currently licensed or able to obtain Georgia security officer registration.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for a full shift.
• Clear verbal and written communication.

Nice To Haves

• Prior security experience.
• Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Industrial, residential, or commercial security experience.
• Prior military or law enforcement service.

Responsibilities

• Control access at gates and entry points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems and respond to incidents and alarms.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, daily activity reports, and incident reports.
• Observe and report safety hazards, policy violations, and suspicious activity.
• Serve as a professional first point of contact for people entering the property.
