Area Sales Design Specialist - St. Petersburg
About The Position
The Area Sales Design Specialist drives sales growth and provides design consultation to clients within an assigned territory. The role is based on-site at assigned Home Depot stores and involves managing relationships with store leaders and associates, using store employees and customer traffic to generate leads and sales, and maintaining a sales pipeline. The specialist plans and executes lead-generating events, supports event sales, communicates product knowledge, and provides training to others. They also update Home Depot leaders on sales performance and merchandising, and ensure Tuff Shed displays are clean, presentable, maintained, and have current signage. The position includes weekend, holiday, and some evening work.
Requirements
- Availability to work standard retail hours, including weekends, holidays, and some evenings.
- Proven relationship-building skills.
- Current valid driver's license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
- Proven computer skills and aptitude to learn new software.
- Ability to work independently and build relationships.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and provide design consultation services to clients.
