About The Position

The Area Sales & Design Specialist drives sales growth and provides design consultation to clients within an assigned territory. The specialist works on-site at assigned Home Depot stores, building relationships with store leaders and associates and using store employees and customer traffic to generate leads and sales. The role includes managing a sales pipeline, organizing lead-generating events, communicating product knowledge, and keeping Tuff Shed displays clean, presentable, maintained, and properly signed. Weekend work is required, along with work on holidays and some evenings.

Requirements

Availability to work standard retail hours, including weekends, holidays, and some evenings.
Proven relationship-building skills.
Current valid driver's license.
Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
Proven computer skills and aptitude for learning new software.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-direction.

Responsibilities

Drive sales growth and provide design consultation services to clients.
Work on-site at assigned Home Depot stores within a specific territory.
Manage relationships with Home Depot store leaders and associates.
Leverage Home Depot employees and customer traffic to generate leads and sales.
Manage a sales pipeline.
Plan, coordinate, and execute lead-generating events and leverage event sales.
Train others and communicate product knowledge.
Partner with Home Depot leaders to provide updates on sales performance, merchandising, and displays.
Ensure Tuff Shed displays are presentable, clean, and maintained, and that signage is updated.
