About The Position

Hertrich Family of Dealerships is hiring a motivated Apprentice Automotive Parts Advisor / Parts Counter Person for its growing parts and service team at Frederick Ford. This is an entry-level, full-time career opportunity with paid, hands-on training; no prior experience is required. The apprentice will learn the operations of a busy dealership parts department from experienced professionals, with opportunities to advance into Parts Advisor, Parts Manager, or other leadership roles.

Hertrich is a third-generation, family-owned dealership group with 24 dealerships, 15 collision centers, and 18 automotive brands. The company has served Delmarva for more than 60 years and supports more than 90 local charities and community organizations. Requirements

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Computer skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Flexible schedule, including some evenings and Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive parts or warehouse experience is helpful but not required.
• Logistics or inventory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn to order, receive, stock, and bill automotive parts.
• Assist technicians and retail customers with parts requests.
• Help manage inventory and organize stock.
• Answer phones and provide outstanding customer service.
• Assist with parts deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Learn dealership parts operations from experienced professionals.
