About The Position
The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is hiring an entry-level Apprentice Automotive Parts Advisor / Parts Counter Person for its growing parts and service team. The role offers paid, hands-on training in the operations of a busy dealership parts department, with opportunities to advance into roles such as Parts Advisor, Parts Manager, or other leadership positions. No prior automotive parts experience is required.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Computer skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Flexible schedule, including some evenings and Saturdays.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive parts or warehouse experience is helpful but not required.
- Logistics or inventory experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Learn to order, receive, stock, and bill automotive parts.
- Assist technicians and retail customers with parts requests.
- Help manage inventory and organize stock.
- Answer phones and provide outstanding customer service.
- Assist with parts deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Learn dealership parts operations from experienced professionals.
