Parts Counter Person
About The Position
The Parts Counter Person is knowledgeable about automotive parts and accessories and accurately answers questions and meets customer requirements in person and by phone. The person locates parts in current inventory or through other sources, such as the internet, vendors, and other dealerships, and arranges delivery and installation. The role also receives and stocks incoming parts and performs warehouse housekeeping duties. The ideal candidate has automotive-parts experience, a courteous and helpful manner, strong customer service and organizational skills, strong phone and computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additional duties may be required; the listed duties are not exhaustive.

Responsibilities
- Receive and stock incoming items.
- Locate accessories or parts and arrange for installation.
- Monitor parts inventory and arrange for installation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicles, accessories, and promotions.
- Maintain accurate sales documentation.
- Provide timely and accurate reports as required.
- Ensure safe and on-time delivery of parts to the dealership while following company procedures and standards.
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
