About The Position
Our Dealerships is seeking a motivated, full-time Parts Counter Person (also referred to as a Parts Advisor) to join its service team. The role supports retail customers and technicians while handling parts ordering, receiving, billing, storage, inventory, and delivery. The successful candidate will provide superior customer service and keep the department orderly, neat, and clean. The listed duties describe the general nature of the work and may change to meet business and organizational needs.
Requirements
- One to two years of prior automotive parts experience, either from a retail parts outlet or a dealership setting.
- Customer-oriented, self-motivated team player.
- Computer literacy.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Availability for a flexible schedule that includes some evenings and Saturdays.
- Valid driver's license and few to no points on driving record.
Responsibilities
- Order, receive, and bill parts.
- Maintain proper storage of parts and stock shelves.
- Assist retail customers and technicians, including answering phones.
- Support parts inventory management through bin counts and record keeping.
- Pick up and deliver parts.
- Keep the department and work area orderly, neat, and clean.
- Maintain a superior level of customer service.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
