About The Position

Supermicro is seeking a talented and passionate Application Engineer with expertise in software solutions, particularly remote management products. The role provides software solutions and support to enterprise customers and promotes Supermicro software products to deliver optimized end-to-end solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in software products and communicates professionally with all levels of management and staff. The position includes customer technical support, automated testing, internal tool development, support for high-priority accounts, and contributions to company software projects such as BMC, CMM, and Redfish. Other duties may also be assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge of Python programming.
Ability to work independently, research issues, and solve problems.
Strong organizational and well-developed social skills.
Excellent telephone etiquette and on-site support skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
1–2 years of experience in automated testing.
2 or more years of working or technical support experience in computer systems and/or servers.
Excellent knowledge of Server / Workstation GPU products.
Highly analytical, creative, detail-oriented, organized, and a good team player.

Responsibilities

Handle customer cases, troubleshoot technical issues, and follow through to resolution.
Write and maintain automated test cases and scripts for software products.
Develop internal tools for managers and other departments, including reports, dashboards, and workflow utilities.
Serve as the primary or backup support contact for high-priority accounts.
Contribute to company software projects, including BMC, CMM, and Redfish, through design reviews, testing, and coordination with software and product management teams.
