About The Position

The Apparel Lead is a member of the Apparel team responsible for evaluating and preparing apparel and linens for sale. The role involves developing general knowledge of apparel categories and sizing, assessing item quality and value, checking for imperfections, pricing and tagging goods, and hanging salable items on racks. The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Must be able to regularly lift, push, pull, carry, or otherwise move up to 40 pounds without support.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a general knowledge of apparel categories and sizing.
• Determine the quality and value of items to be sold in the store.
• Check items for imperfections as part of quality assurance.
• Price, size, and tag apparel and linens according to type.
• Hang salable goods on racks.
