About The Position

The Apparel Lead oversees the apparel department to support excellent member service, drive sales, and help meet financial goals. The role manages inventory, merchandising, seasonal strategies, pricing and promotional execution, and apparel presentation. The Apparel Lead has no direct supervisory responsibilities but supports business performance and the member experience by training, influencing, motivating, and supporting the apparel team. The position also maintains club policies and procedures, may perform duties in other departments as needed, and requires regular, predictable, full attendance.

Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of retail experience, preferably in soft lines, apparel, or fashion.
Task-oriented, reliable, goal-setter with organizational skills.
Demonstrated customer service experience, including resolving customer issues.
Familiarity with merchandising principles and experience executing planograms.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high presentation and cleanliness standards.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Frequent standing and movement on hard surfaces.
Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds; occasional heavier lifting with assistance.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist members, answer questions, and provide a positive shopping experience.
Monitor inventory, conduct stock checks, coordinate with Club Leadership to maintain product availability, and keep backstock organized for replenishment.
Execute clearance, salvage, and markdown activity as communicated through My Work to support sell-through goals.
Implement and maintain planograms, apparel tables, displays, and visual merchandising standards.
Ensure apparel merchandise and displays meet GOLD presentation and cleanliness standards, including correct product organization and stacking heights.
Set up and maintain HVS and apparel displays according to current planogram guidelines, with correct product placement and signage.
Execute promotional events and ensure signage is visible, accurate, and timely.
Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Train, influence, motivate, and support the apparel team in achieving sales goals and maintaining performance standards; serve as a subject matter expert on visual merchandising and presentation.
Provide feedback and maintain open communication about improving the member experience and business.
Work as a team to meet club standards and support a safe, positive environment.
Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
