About The Position

Monarch Investment & Management Group is hiring a reliable, detail-oriented, self-starting Porter for its Leclaire Apartments community in Moline, Illinois. The Porter helps keep the community clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and pays $16–$18 per hour depending on experience, with quarterly bonuses and benefits. Pre-employment screening includes a criminal background check and drug screening.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience in janitorial, groundskeeping, or similar work.
A proactive, detail-focused, dependable team player.
Strong work ethic and pride in a job well done.
Ability to complete pre-employment criminal background and drug screenings.

Nice To Haves

Commercial cleaning experience.
Basic knowledge of property operations or maintenance.

Responsibilities

Clean and organize interior spaces, including offices, bathrooms, hallways, and fitness centers.
Remove trash and prepare vacant units for new residents.
Maintain the community’s curb appeal.
Assist with basic maintenance tasks, such as painting, repairs, and unit turns.
Support seasonal tasks, including snow removal and pool upkeep.
Report maintenance or safety concerns.
