About The Position
Weinstein Properties is hiring a Groundskeeper for Bexley 3Five in South Austin. Groundskeepers help keep the apartment community clean, attractive, and welcoming. The role is suited to a reliable, detail-oriented, self-motivated person who takes pride in their work. Weinstein Properties emphasizes hands-on daily operations and offers training for people willing to learn, with potential growth into maintenance technician or other roles. The work includes recurring and sometimes unpleasant duties such as picking up litter, cleaning pet waste stations, and trashing out apartments. Groundskeepers may also perform light painting, housekeeping tasks, and other support for the maintenance team. The position is physically demanding and involves outdoor work throughout the year, including potentially inclement weather.
Requirements
- Be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

- Have a strong work ethic and complete tasks thoroughly, including dirty or repetitive work.
- Communicate and collaborate with maintenance and leasing teams.

- Meet the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, including prolonged standing and walking; frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 pounds or more; frequent bending and stooping; and use of tools and equipment.
- Work outdoors year-round in potentially inclement weather and at times in loud conditions.
Responsibilities
- Keep the apartment community clean, attractive, and welcoming.
- Pick up litter and clean pet waste stations as recurring daily duties.
- Trash out apartments.
- Perform light painting and housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Support maintenance and leasing teams and take on other responsibilities as needed.
- Plant, weed, and maintain outdoor spaces.
