About The Position

The Apartment Community Housekeeper cleans and maintains property models, amenities, vacant apartments, and public access areas at Rosewood and Pecan Grove Apartments in Alexandria, Louisiana. This is an on-site, year-round, 40-hour-per-week role with a Monday-through-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. day shift. The position requires driving between the two properties, which are three minutes apart, and a valid driver's license.

The housekeeper maintains the overall condition and appearance of the properties, prepares vacant apartments for new occupants, removes trash, and cares for housekeeping supplies and equipment. The role may also involve light maintenance, including painting during turnovers or make-readies, and snow removal. A physical demonstration of job duties is required during the interview process. Pre-employment screening includes a criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the entire property in good condition.
• Clean vacant apartments for new occupants.
• Remove trash daily and clean public access and interior areas.
• Care for, maintain, and inventory housekeeping supplies and equipment owned by the property or management company.
• May assist with light maintenance, including painting on turnovers or make-readies.
• Perform snow removal.
