About The Position

Heritage Properties is seeking a dependable and motivated Porter to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal of its apartment communities in Lowell and Tyngsboro, Massachusetts. The position works at multiple properties each day and supports the maintenance team by keeping grounds, common areas, and vacant apartments clean and well-maintained while providing customer service to residents.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with compensation of $21 per hour. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between properties. Requirements

• Be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Have good communication skills, a positive attitude, and customer service skills.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable insured transportation.
• Be able to travel between multiple properties daily.
• Be comfortable using a smartphone and email for daily communication.

Nice To Haves

• Groundskeeping, custodial, landscaping, or maintenance experience; the company is willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance of apartment grounds, parking lots, sidewalks, patios, mailbox areas, and common spaces.
• Assist with apartment turnovers and prepare units for new residents.
• Perform light landscaping duties.
• Assist maintenance technicians with moving equipment and supplies as needed.
• Provide customer service to residents.
• Travel between multiple properties daily.
