About The Position

Adara Communities is seeking an experienced Apartment Porter for Arella Forest at Woodland, a 240-unit property. The role supports a clean, safe, and resident-focused community by maintaining indoor common areas and outdoor spaces, performing daily cleaning and grounds tasks, helping with light maintenance, and assisting residents as needed. The porter works collaboratively with maintenance and office teams and follows company policies and safety guidelines. Candidates must live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate. Work takes place indoors and in community common areas, and requires regular physical activity. Employees must follow the company uniform policy; the uniform is provided on the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, breezeways, and recreational spaces.
• Perform daily cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping surfaces.
• Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash from designated areas throughout the community.
• Keep outdoor areas clean by picking up litter, blowing debris, watering plants, and maintaining walkways.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks, including changing bulbs, replacing air filters, and reporting needed repairs.
• Offer courteous assistance to residents when needed, such as helping with packages or furniture.
• Monitor the community for safety hazards, maintenance needs, or security concerns and promptly report them.
• Follow company policies and safety guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with maintenance and office teams to support daily operations.
