About The Position

The Apartment Manager/Floating Shift Supervisor supervises Direct Care Staff and coordinates daily activities in a residential or apartment setting. The role is responsible for financial records for residents and the group home, maintaining records related to the area of responsibility, and preparing and submitting required written and electronic paperwork. The position promotes a desirable residential atmosphere consistent with the NHS/AVS philosophy, supporting residents’ full rights and expecting staff to act in a mature, wholesome, and responsible manner.

The position provides staff orientation and ongoing training, and coordinates, plans, and initiates residential activities, special events, and off-campus trips. It requires basic computer skills and close collaboration with other departments. The role also rotates into the Relief Shift Supervisor position, which is responsible for all matters within the building, including staff and residents. The position directly reports to the Residential Services Director.

Requirements

• One (2) years of prior work experience with IDD in a similar setting, or an equivalent combination of experience and training, is required.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills.
• Valid driver's license to drive buses.

Responsibilities
