Apartment Maintenance Supervisor
About The Position
Monarch is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor for Pavilion Lakes Apartments, a 200-unit apartment community in Evansville, Indiana. This is a full-time, year-round, on-site position combining administrative duties with hands-on maintenance work, including helping with work orders and apartment turns as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call duty one week every two weeks. Overtime potential is available. The role requires previous maintenance leadership experience and at least two years of experience in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, general construction, or equivalent work. Hands-on HVAC experience is required; two or more years of HVAC experience and certification are strongly preferred. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. The interview process includes a maintenance skills assessment and a physical demonstration of the ability to complete basic job duties. Pre-employment screening includes a criminal background check and drug screening.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, general construction, or equivalent.
- Previous management or leadership experience in a maintenance setting.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Hands-on HVAC experience.
- Complete a maintenance skills assessment during the interview process.
- Demonstrate the ability to complete basic job duties in a physical demonstration during the interview process.
- Pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screenings.

Responsibilities
- Help complete maintenance work orders as needed.
- Help with apartment turns as needed.
- Perform hands-on maintenance work while handling administrative aspects of the role.
- Participate in on-call coverage one week every two weeks.
