About The Position

Adara Communities is seeking an experienced, energetic, and self-motivated Apartment Leasing Agent for Walden Lakewood, a 160-unit property. The role is based in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and involves leasing apartments, supporting property operations, engaging with residents and prospects, and helping maintain strong occupancy and leasing performance. Candidates must live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.

Requirements

At least 2 years of previous experience leasing conventional apartments; required.
Strong sales and leasing skills with a proven ability to close.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Positive attitude, flexibility, and a polished, professional appearance.
Flexible schedule with weekend work required.
Stable work history.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Nice To Haves

Social media or marketing content creation experience is strongly preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Stand, greet, qualify, and close prospects professionally and enthusiastically.
Lease apartments to maintain high occupancy and strong leasing performance.
Verify applications, process leasing paperwork, and ensure accurate documentation.
Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospects.
Generate new traffic through outreach efforts and community engagement.
Host resident functions and contribute to positive resident relations.
Create and maintain the property's social media presence to drive traffic and engagement.
Support the Property Manager and/or Leasing Manager with daily operational tasks.
Represent the community with a friendly and professional demeanor.
