About The Position

Adara Communities is hiring an experienced, energetic Apartment Leasing Agent for Yorktown Apartments, a 565-unit community. The role is suited to a self-motivated, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The Leasing Agent helps maintain high occupancy and strong leasing performance while delivering positive experiences to prospective and current residents. The position also supports the Property Manager and/or Leasing Manager with daily operational tasks and contributes to resident engagement and the community’s online presence.

Requirements

At least 1 year of previous experience leasing conventional apartments; required.
Strong sales and leasing skills, with a proven ability to close.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Positive attitude and flexibility.
Polished, professional appearance.
Flexible schedule, including required weekends.
Stable work history.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.

Nice To Haves

Experience creating social media or marketing content is strongly preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet, qualify, and close prospective residents professionally and enthusiastically.
Lease apartments to maintain high occupancy and strong leasing performance.
Verify applications, process leasing paperwork, and ensure documentation is accurate.
Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospects.
Generate new traffic through outreach and community engagement.
Host resident functions and help maintain positive resident relations.
Create and maintain the property's social media presence to drive traffic and engagement.
Support the Property Manager and/or Leasing Manager with daily operational tasks.
Represent the community in a friendly and professional manner.
