About The Position

Assists individuals with adopting Angels as part of the Christmas Angel Tree Program. Provides information and answers questions about Angel adoption, offers prompt and courteous service, and prepares and maintains accurate records related to the adoption and gift process. The role also performs other related work as required. Duties are carried out in accordance with The Salvation Army’s mission, ministry, philosophy, culture, protocol, and Christian principles, with the highest level of professionalism.

Requirements

• No formal education or experience requirements.
• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to sort and file documents alphabetically and numerically.
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail while managing interruptions from questions and assistance requests.
• Ability to maintain an efficient and organized filing system.
• Ability to maintain the confidential nature of the work.
• Ability to follow instructions, plan and organize work, and work under limited supervision.
• Ability to perform duties in accordance with The Salvation Army’s mission, ministry, philosophy, culture, protocol, and Christian principles, and to communicate and perform job duties professionally.
• Ability to walk, stand, lift, and carry light objects weighing less than 25 pounds as required.
