About The Position

The Angel Tree Worker provides support for The Salvation Army’s seasonal Angel Tree program. The role includes handling and moving donations, helping prepare and clean warehouse and staging areas, serving as an attendant at Angel Tree sites, and assisting with pickups from malls or corporations. The worker also enters recipient information into an established database and helps keep warehouse and restroom areas clean.

Requirements

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to questions about the Angel Tree program.
• Maintain good relationships with donors and recipients to promote a favorable image of The Salvation Army.
• Travel to Angel Tree sites to represent The Salvation Army and deliver supplies.
• Assist with data entry of recipients into an established database.
• Lift, carry, load, and unload donations from vehicles and move them to appropriate areas.
• Assist with layout, setup, and cleanup of warehouse and staging areas.
• Serve as an attendant at Angel Tree sites.
• Assist with pickups from malls or corporations.
• Maintain clean warehouse and restroom areas.
