Angel Tree Worker
About The Position
The Angel Tree Worker is a part-time, temporary seasonal position at The Salvation Army’s Scottsdale Fashion Square location in Scottsdale, Arizona. Reporting to the Christmas Angel Coordinator, the worker supports the Angel Tree program by overseeing tags displayed on trees, assisting with gift wrapping, issuing receipts for tags checked out by donors, and receiving gifts and money returned by donors. The worker also bags gifts and toys for daily pickup, answers public questions about the program, keeps supplies stocked, and cleans the mall booth at the end of each day.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Must have own transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent customer relations skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and oversee the placement of tags on trees.
- Help with gift wrapping.
- Check out tags to donors and complete receipts.
- Receive gifts and money returned by donors and provide receipts.
- Bag toys and gifts received and prepare them for daily pickup.
- Respond to public questions about the Angel Tree program.
- Keep supplies stocked.
- Clean up the mall booth at the end of each day.
