Angel Tree Worker
About The Position
The Angel Tree Worker assists individuals with adopting Angels through the Christmas Angel Tree Program, provides information and answers questions about adoption, and prepares and maintains accurate records related to the adoption and gift process. The role provides prompt and courteous service and performs other related work as required. The worker must be able to maintain confidential records and an organized filing system, follow instructions, plan and organize work, and work under limited supervision. Duties are generally performed seated, though walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects may be required. The position requires carrying objects weighing less than 25 pounds and performing all duties in accordance with The Salvation Army’s mission, ministry, philosophy, culture, protocol, and Christian principles.
Requirements
- No formal education or experience requirements.
- Meet attendance requirements.
- Read, write, and communicate in English.
- Sort and file documents alphabetically and numerically.
- Concentrate and pay close attention to detail despite interruptions while answering questions or assisting individuals.
- Perform duties in accordance with The Salvation Army’s mission, ministry, philosophy, culture, protocol, and Christian principles, and communicate and perform duties professionally.
- Maintain an efficient and organized filing system and preserve the confidential nature of the work.
- Follow instructions, plan and organize work, and work under limited supervision.
- Walk, stand, lift, and carry light objects weighing less than 25 pounds as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with adopting Angels as part of the Christmas Angel Tree Program.
- Provide information and answer questions regarding adoption of Angels.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to all individuals.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records related to the Angel Tree adoption and gift process.
- Perform other related work as required.
