About The Position

The Salvation Army is hiring a part-time, temporary Angel Tree Worker at Scottsdale Fashion Square in Scottsdale, Arizona. The role supports the Angel Tree program and requires excellent customer relations skills. The worker monitors tag placement on trees, helps with gift wrapping, checks tags out to donors by completing receipts, and receives gifts and monetary donations while issuing receipts. The worker also bags gifts and toys for daily pickup, answers public questions about the program, keeps supplies stocked, and cleans the mall booth at the end of each day. The Salvation Army is an international movement and an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible, its ministry is motivated by the love of God, and its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Must have own transportation.
Ability to pass a background check.
Excellent customer relations skills.
Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Regularly walk, stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach with hands and arms on a continuous basis.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to operate a telephone and a desktop or laptop computer, access and produce information from a computer, and understand written information.
