About The Position
This position is responsible for managing the Angel Tree Program for The Salvation Army in Alamance County. The role involves recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers, preparing records and reports, handling donations in the warehouse, and maintaining good relationships with donors to promote a favorable image of The Salvation Army.
Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Two years experience working in an office environment or Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with co-workers.
- Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Manages the Angel Tree Program for The Salvation Army in Alamance County.
- Recruits, trains, and coordinates volunteers to meet Christmas program needs.
- Prepares records and reports for the Christmas program.
- Lifts and stacks donations in the warehouse and distributes them to their proper place.
- Assists in working in all areas of the Christmas warehouse operations as needed.
- Maintains good relationships with donors to promote a favorable image of The Salvation Army.
