Android Sales Expert
About The Position
The Android Sales Expert promotes Android OS devices and related products in assigned Best Buy retail locations, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets. The role builds relationships with retail decision-makers, supports an excellent customer experience, improves product placement and brand visibility, and educates Best Buy associates and customers about Android devices and the broader Android ecosystem. It also involves adapting sales strategies to market opportunities and reporting on sales performance and trends. The position is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and requires daily travel to multiple stores using a personal vehicle. Occasional overnight assignments may be necessary. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, four 10-hour shifts. Pay is $24.75 per hour, with weekly, monthly, and quarterly contests, incentives, and spiffs. Paid training is online or at home using a computer or mobile device. The employer also describes opportunities for continued program work, advancement, training, and development.
Requirements
- Proven ability to drive results and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced retail environment, including meeting or surpassing quotas.
- Ability to influence retail partners and build lasting relationships with key decision-makers, particularly Best Buy store leadership.
- Strong customer focus and ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences, listen to customer needs, provide knowledgeable assistance, and resolve issues professionally.
- Ability to adapt sales strategies to changing market conditions and retailer needs, and learn new products, processes, and technologies.
- Proactive self-starter able to work independently, manage time, set priorities, and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to quickly learn and maintain strong knowledge of Android devices and the broader ecosystem, and clearly communicate product features and benefits.
- Reliable transportation for daily travel to multiple stores.
- Valid driver's license.
- Personal vehicle and insurance; submission to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
- Ability to accommodate occasional overnight assignments.
- Ability to lift and move displays weighing 25 lbs. or more.
