Analytics Manager

Careem is seeking a highly experienced individual to join their Analytics team. The team's mission is to provide actionable insights and solve problems related to Careem's ride-hailing business. As a core team member, the successful candidate will be responsible for converting complex data into compelling narratives that drive business decisions. They will also be expected to provide technical mentorship and ensure data quality. The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in delivering high impact from data and possess expertise in Python or R, complex SQL queries, and building strong narratives based on deep insights.

• Drive and support the designated team by converting complex data and findings into compelling narratives for business decisions with actionable insights
• Define, instrument, and maintain new and existing business critical metrics
• Provide technical mentorship to the team as a senior IC
• Scope out clear requirements for the dwh team and ensure accountability on data quality
• Have 8+ years of professional full-time experience working with data teams and internal or external stakeholders
• Ability to code Python or R and complex SQL queries
• Ability to build strong and compelling narratives based on deep insights and effectively communicate them in leadership forums
• Strong track record in delivering high impact from data through leading multiple cross-functional efforts
