About the position
The Analyst Relations Principal is responsible for developing and executing the analyst relations strategy, fostering relationships with industry analysts, and serving as a spokesperson for the company's products and services. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role plays a crucial part in aligning internal and external stakeholders to ensure the strategic impact of analyst relations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in B2B marketing, strategy, or communications roles, with a minimum of 3 years in Analyst Relations. Strong collaboration, negotiation, and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Illuminate areas of opportunity where analyst relations can provide a competitive advantage and foster/strengthen relationships with primary, secondary and tertiary analysts
- Serve as the liaison between industry analysts and the company, acting as a spokesperson and evangelist for Kinaxis' products and services
- Develop and deploy best practices for program elements such as inquiry, briefing, events, and evaluations
- Manage analyst relations operations, including budget, contracts, and tools, and measure and report on metrics/outcomes
- Identify and develop spokespeople, including executives and subject matter experts, to ensure effective messaging and best practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to drive engagement and gather insights
- Develop a communications cadence and feedback loop to share analyst insights with stakeholders
- Review, evaluate, and negotiate contracts, terms and conditions, services/products, timelines, and potential discounts
- Create impactful strategic analyst relations programs/initiatives
- Build a strong reputation among the analyst community
- Understand and stay updated on industry trends and analyst research
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related
- 10+ years demonstrated progressive experience in B2B marketing, strategy, or communications roles in enterprise technology and/or service providers
- Minimum of 3 years of Analyst Relations experience
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
- Strong collaboration and negotiation skills
- Excellent communicator with the ability to convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation, and spoken formats
- Problem-solver and change champion

- Creative and outside-the-box thinking
- Demonstrated experience creating impactful strategic analyst relations programs/initiatives
- Strong understanding of reputation management and building relationships with the analyst community
