About The Position

The Amusement (Arcade) Supervisor supports the Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in supervising and managing the Amusement (Arcade) Department. The role provides customer service, helps manage and train employees, supports departmental sales, ensures compliance with company policies, and assists with department operations and inventory. Employees in management handle and serve alcohol, so applicants must be at least 21 years old. A high school diploma or GED is required. Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years old because management staff handle and serve alcohol.
• Open availability, especially nights and weekends.
• 2–3 years of retail management experience, preferably in the entertainment, retail, or hospitality industries.
• Ability to regularly bend, stretch, twist, climb, and maintain mobility and flexibility in small spaces.
• Ability to stand and walk for extensive periods without breaks during busy times.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by remaining visible and accessible to customers.
• Explain game operation and rules to customers and troubleshoot machine glitches in response to complaints.
• Assist the Amusement Manager and/or General Manager with planning work schedules and assigning employees to duties.
• Ensure amusement employees are properly trained.
• Achieve departmental sales goals and provide personal sales support on the floor.
• Conduct till checks, refunds, credit adjustments, and ticket adjustments in accordance with company policy.
• Supervise department employees to ensure compliance with operational practices and policies.
• Conduct department opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor payout ratios for crane operations, paying close attention to payout numbers and customer volume.
• Assist the Amusement Manager and/or General Manager with monitoring daily store inventory levels.
• Cross-train in other departments to provide assistance.
