About The Position

The Amusement (Arcade) Associate provides exceptional customer service while supporting the operation of the Arcade Department. The role involves engaging with customers, maintaining amusement game inventory and cleanliness, responding to customer requests, and answering general inquiry calls. The associate may also perform projects and other duties assigned by management. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. One to two years of experience in hospitality or retail is required. Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is preferred.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to two years of experience in a hospitality or retail environment.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and maintain a high level of mobility and flexibility in small spaces.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods without breaks during busy times.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers during assigned shifts to determine whether their needs are met.
• Maintain inventory levels in amusement games.
• Keep games and counters clean and visibly attractive to customers.
• Respond to customer requests promptly, politely, and with a friendly demeanor.
• Answer phone calls for general inquiries.
• Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
• Conduct alcohol and age-restriction controls according to company policies.
• Follow company lost-and-found procedures.
• Seek constant improvement and more efficient or less expensive ways to carry out departmental work processes.
• Comply with and maintain the confidentiality of company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
