About The Position

Round One Entertainment is hiring a part-time, non-exempt Mechanic/Technician to oversee, maintain, and repair amusement arcade and/or bowling machines. The role supports arcade and bowling operations by diagnosing machine malfunctions and assisting with installation, maintenance, and repairs involving mechanical and circuitry issues.

The employee works in a bowling center and arcade environment, where high levels of noise, dust, and activity are expected. The position requires working varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, and overtime as needed to support business needs.

Requirements

• Completed high school diploma or GED.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, including high integrity and respect for everyone.
• Solid communication skills.
• Strong critical and analytical thinking skills.

• Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, as well as overtime to support business needs.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and move flexibly in small spaces.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods without breaks during busy times.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Open availability, especially nights and weekends.
• Two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer complaints about machine malfunctions and analyze mechanisms to identify the root cause.
• Assist the Facility Manager with installation, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical and circuitry issues in arcade games and/or bowling machines.
• Identify common problems with components such as controls and audio systems.
• Perform maintenance and repair tasks.
• Keep the workshop clean and organized.
• Follow up to complete assigned work.
• Report irregular issues and problems to upper management for resolution.
• Maintain good communication with employees and outside contacts.
• Comply with and maintain the confidentiality of company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
