Aisles Online Manager
About The Position
The Aisles Online Manager oversees the planning, staffing, and day-to-day operations of a store’s online shopping fulfillment process. The manager ensures orders are picked, packed, and delivered on time and to a high standard, leads and develops department employees, resolves customer service issues, and looks for ways to improve the customer experience. The role requires strong organization and leadership in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The position reports to the Store Director, Store Manager, or Assistant Managers of Store Operations, Perishables, or Health Wellness Home, and has department employees as direct reports. It is an hourly role. Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a pre-employment drug screen.
Requirements

- Clear, professional verbal and written communication with customers, team members, and vendors.
- Ability to identify problems and develop practical, timely solutions.
- Confidence using computer systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, email, and job-specific applications.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to handle confidential sales reports, pricing, profit and loss data, and operational information with discretion.
- Ability to frequently stand and walk throughout a shift in sales, food service, or delivery areas.
- Ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, reaching, and bending associated with order fulfillment, POS transactions, and cleaning and sanitation duties.

Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, addressing their needs, and taking steps to resolve customer service issues.
- Oversee the order fulfillment process and monitor incoming online orders to ensure prompt, on-time fulfillment.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and develop department employees.
- Educate employees about new policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure food safety guidelines are followed and products are kept at proper temperatures during fulfillment.
- Instruct, assign, and review the work of others; coordinate activities and address employee concerns as needed.
- Recommend employee discipline.
- Answer customer phone calls and emails promptly and provide helpful service.
- Follow Hy-Vee’s dress code, hygiene standards, and department and company guidelines.
- Assist with other tasks and special projects as needed.
