As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, visitors, and staff. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or tenants while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random vehicle and foot patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations and emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate observations to supervisors and applicable personnel.
