As an Airport Security Officer: Full Time TCO Thursday-Sunday in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document security-related activity. Requirements

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminal areas, public spaces, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, restricted areas, and pedestrian and vehicle activity; report observed irregularities, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with the public and onsite staff.
