Requirements

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
18+ years of age
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, access points, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual conditions, access-control concerns, hazards, and policy violations, and promptly report observations to appropriate personnel.
Assist with directing visitors and responding to questions while maintaining a professional presence in a government transportation location.
