Requirements
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 18+ years of age
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, exterior grounds, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
- Monitor access points, restricted-area entry locations, and vehicle or pedestrian activity in accordance with site-specific policies and established reporting procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and authorized personnel.
