Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 18+ years of age
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and airport partners while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, public spaces, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the airport location.
  • Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, unattended property, and potential hazards, and report observations through established communication and reporting procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; request additional support when needed.
  • Assist with directing visitors and maintaining an orderly presence at assigned posts while helping to deter unauthorized activity and supporting airport operations.
