About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers, employees, and visitors. Requirements

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
18+ years of age
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
Have at least one year of security-related experience.
Be able to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an airport location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or public agencies as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned airport areas, including terminals, parking facilities, access points, perimeter areas, and other designated locations.
Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, unattended property, and other security-related concerns, documenting and reporting observations according to site procedures.
Support orderly access and movement throughout assigned areas while providing clear directions and assistance to the public.
